

The current theory is that a mouse or rat was nesting in one of the dry ingredient stockpiles at the factory where they produce CTC - indicated by the brown specks baked into the cereal that one buyer found - and some of the nest's collections of scraps (twine, shrimp tails, etc) wound up getting tossed in with the ingredients and inside the bagged product.
